Humans take it for granted that the world works as it does. Even the smallest child has a sense of power and submission and that’s what makes life interesting. Climbing or falling off the corporate ladder, rising to stardom or sinking into obscurity, these things drive us.
But somewhere out there, there’s a race so technologically advanced that they’ve forgotten how to take the good with the bad. Incapable of violence, yet fascinated by it, they created their own version of a reality TV show with all the drama they could ever want. The problem is that their stars aren’t there by choice.
Whoever you were before, whatever you did, it’s gone. Maybe you lived a normal, cushy life or you were a rock star with billions at your disposal? Maybe you were a spy or maybe you were a soldier? Maybe you weren’t even human? Whatever race or era you belonged to, we’re all animals here.
